Each of those furry little folds holds a piece of this soul's potential for greatness, but sadly, so many just like this spaghetti squash sized girl suffer and perish without ever knowing true love or loyalty. Why? Kitty is a pit bull mix, and a black one at that. Pit bulls and pit mixes are the number one breed in shelters across the country for a smattering of upsetting reasons. They're a controversial type with a bad reputation, and it's pretty complicated, so we don't have the space to get into it here — but in a nutshell, we think each animal should be treated as an individual; like all dogs, they need the right adopters and committed training and socialization in order to get the best chance at being awesome pets; they're not the only breed that presents behavioral challenges, so let’s not discriminate unfairly. Add her color to the equation, and Kitty had a less than one in a million shot at reaching the dreams she didn't even know she had... until she made it into rescue hands. |unbezahlte Werbung/selbst gekauft| Hallo ihr Lieben Kennt ihr eigentlich schon die bezaubernde @rosebloom_autorin ?☺ Ich muss gestehen ich habe sie auch vielmehr durch einen Zufall entdeckt, musste aber dann sofort von ihr das Buch Second Chance lesen und war begeistert Ihr Schreibstil ist locker und gefühlvoll, eine wundervolle Mischung wie ich finde und das Buch an sich hat mich sehr berührt Auf den ersten Blick kann für manche der Klapptext ein wenig klischeehaft wirken, also der arme Junge, der dem reichen Mädchen die Welt offenbart, aber absolut verfehlt. Round the clock care/worries is all worth it when you see this!!! Baby Girl is nursing slowly on her own this morning and 2 hours later when I went back for her next feeding she stood up and walked all by herself ❤️❤️❤️!! She’s still weak and has a lot of strength to regain but I’m hopeful. For those of you who asked why is she so weak..let’s pretend it’s a human baby, the mother had her on pavement, falling out of her onto the hard pavement. when the baby hit the ground she broke her leg and hit her head. The baby couldn’t get up to nurse and the mother in this case couldn’t pick her baby up and care for it. If your newborn baby laid like that in the road, cold and hurt, wouldn’t it be weak and in pain These little fawns are just like newborn babies, they are very fragile and without their mothers care the first 24 hours they don’t have the strength. #bestnonpayingjobever #nevergiveup

If we had to describe Diesel Dos in just four words, it would be: an armful of charming. Or bug eyed, big hearted. Or very adorable mature mister. This Rat Terrier mix is about 8 years old, 13 lbs, and a quirky, loving little bundle of joy that buzzes with a spunky energy you'd think only belongs to the young He's pretty mellow in general, just loves to hang around the house napping, but he also likes to go for walks to explore the world and make doggy acquaintances and friends. He's friendly with other pups and polite with humans, and he's extremely food motivated and smart — he's tuned in to every noise and smell that might indicate a snack, so he'll learn super fast if you want to teach him any tricks or commands. Diesel Dos would do best in a medium active home, and his foster mom says: "Diesel is great and super low key, he likes to find a cozy spot and just relax, basically Netflix and chill, he loves potato chips and a good belly rub. On his walks he likes to explore, attempts to chase birds, he likes a nice walk that leads back to his cozy spot at home. He’s not great on busier streets, he sometimes refuses to walk, and he gets worked up when he sees roller bags… But he likes people and dogs and is always friendly! I think he has a playful side to him which we’ve discovered on walks when he meets a playful pup.
