LSD, the common name for lysergic acid diethylamide, is a hallucinogen that was originally created in 1938 from a fungus that grew on grains, ergot. Lysergic acid diethylamide, or LSD, was originally developed in 1938 as a stimulant. It wasn’t until 5 years later that its hallucinogenic property was discovered. This exposed the drug to extensive trials intended to be used as a possible treatment for schizophrenia and other mental illnesses. By the 1960s, it had made its way to the streets, attracting a massive following of people who enjoyed the psychedelic nature of the drug. ***this post is for educational purposes only. Nicotine is an alkaloid found naturally in tobacco plants, and just like many other alkaloids like caffeine, nicotine has psychoactive effects on the human body. It is used in numerous consumer products such as cigarettes , electronic cigarettes and cigars. The human body absorbs 1-2 mg of nicotine from the average cigarette, but this is sufficient to induce the highly addictive effect of tobacco smoking. When nicotine-rich blood enters the brain , it triggers the secretion of a wide range of neurotransmitters, such as serotonin and dopamine, both of which contribute to the feelings of pleasure and happiness ☺️. Interestingly, after repeated nicotine dosages, nicotine changes from a stimulant to a sedative , as it dampens neuronal activity. Monday OWNday! Cheers to making the subconscious conscious. Goodbye to coffee ☕️ After mindlessly ramming coffee into my system first thing in the AM for 15 years and almost losing my mind if I couldn’t get my hit in the morning, I realised that that pattern no longer served me and went off it (4 weeks now). But because I love modulating my states with helpful and functional foods, I have now found a new love for raw cacao. I never even realised cacao was a stimulant because I was so desensitised. But now that I have my cacao - lions mane - coconut oil mix 2 or 3 times per week I am loving the clear, energised, positive, expanded and especially mild stimulation I get from it. Nothing like the hyperactive coffee jolt. Also where coffee is a vasoconstrictor, cacao is a vasodilator. It’s also one of the most complete foods in the world and super high in magnesium. It’s very nutritious and full of awesome fats and nice proteins. The combination with the nootropic adaptogenic qualities of the Lions Mane mushroom make it the perfect vibe for my creative / productive days of entrepreneurial adventure. Happy Monday! ❤️ #mindlift #cacao #lionsmane #nootropic #biohacking #rawcacao #stimulant #monday #ownday #onday

Because I have a life outside of fitness and you should too. ✌ - Training and health is a big part of my life, we get that. I live and breathe it as it’s not only my hobby, but my sport and career too. For a long time there, the gym consumed me. It consumed my thoughts, my actions, my happiness and my ability to relax and enjoy myself. To the people who don’t know me well, it may look like I don’t do anything else.. but that’s only because that’s what I share on Instagram. I created this page to educate, motivate and inspire others. Not to share my life story - It’s so important to live your life with amazing foods, experiences, holidays, partying and eating dessert. If your anything like me, most of my memorable experiences come from many of these few things. Although our ideas of ‘fun’ may be different, I just hope your not letting the thought of putting on a bit of extra body fat cripple you from doing what actually makes you happy. - Now being healthy, nourishing your body and training hard should be an absolute priority. Now and for the rest of your life.. However, it seems these days I see many peoples relationships with ‘health’ obsessive, unrealistic and self destructive. - From cutting sugar, to the fasting, to the vegan diet, the training for 2 hours a day, the detoxs, the teas, the supplements .. the list goes on. It’s laughable. - I am not dissing anyone or anyone’s choices , that’s theirs not mine and I completely respect that Something may work for you but not for me and that’s all fine. But for the people who are completely overwhelmed with information from the industry and nothing seems to be working .. go back to basics and enjoy your life for gods sake. - Put in the work every day, (physically and mentally) eat clean 80% of the time and listen to your body. Simple as that. Some of the best bodies were created that way. No need to over complicate ❤️
