Its difficult to comprehend the intense fear that those courageous gentlemen experienced in those chaotic moments, yet they pressed on with every bit of their might to free the world one crazed, deranged lunatic and his cronies. Many of those men sacrificed their own lives that day, yet not forgetting every person who paid the ultimate sacrifice throughout the war so that you may enjoy the freedoms you live with today. So that I may live and enjoy this freedom that I am fortunate enough to live with today, that we all fortunate enough to enjoy everyday. That is something to be wholeheartedly remembered and respected, never forgotten. Who knows what sort of world we may live in today if it weren’t for those courageous men. Their generation saved the world back then, however, the responsibility has not ceased, for it is up to our generation to not only preserve the world that was given to us by them, but we have a responsibility to save the world in many different aspect that we face today, from ourselves, from those among us who choose to ignore that very responsibility. Every one of those men deserve a moment today to be remembered, respected and reflected upon. ⛵️

I read something the other day... It read... The waiting The meantime The in between It all serves a purpose, trust your process, even the delays and detours... I’ve really had to do some hard convincing of this to myself today. Seeing more and more friends leave the marina everyday... even more today, whereas I’m still here left behind, yet pushing with everything I’ve got, everything I can work with, every bit of resources I have in me in between rests to recharge and push further, working around obstacles and set backs whilst trying to keep below the threshold of becoming overwhelmed by everything, which is something in itself. I’m not gonna lie, it’s been pretty tough, because all you want to do is just untie the lines and set sail, but you can’t, you’re not at a point yet to do that. I’ve even found myself missing London after seeing friends sharing awesome times together lately, which is really saying something as I never seem to feel that. Something that has been annoying and irritating the hell out of me lately, is that I get so tired and I have to sleep cause if I didn’t, I’d be so much further ahead of myself, I’d be unstoppable, but unfortunately that is a little beyond what is naturally possible. But one thing I find a little bit helpful against the FOMO and comparing with seeing other sailing friends heading off and enjoying themselves, is to remind myself that I’m in a completely different class to everyone else. I’m in a class of my own, I’m one person, one person with very limited resources, yet I’m getting there slowly but surely. And when I finally do manage to hoist those sails and sail past those breakwaters into the open sea to begin my journey, it’s going to feel so damn unbelievably worth it... If anything, if there’s one thing I always been really good at... Is arriving late, and making quite an entrance... There sure have been quite a few moments over the last couple days where I just wish I could catch a frickin break that boosts me just that little bit further where I’m not having to haul myself along on my own steam, just for a moment, even just a little one...Gosh that would be so amazingly awesome right now. ⛵️
