I like being told I’m beautiful. It makes me smile and feel warm and fuzzy. But honestly, to be reassured that I’m beautiful because of more than just my body, that means A LOT. It is so impactful to be told I’m beautiful because of my character or my humor, my strength or the evidence of Christ in me, because those are things that I can actually control. Today’s morning routine and a hormonal acne update: I got a little overexcited thinking I was experiencing a spironolactone miracle - that lasted a few weeks but now I have plenty of acne all over again. My doctor prescribed some clindamycin/tretinoin recently so I’m trying that out. I’m thinking I’ll ask the doctor to bump up my dosage from 100 mg since it did work briefly and from what I understand 100mg is on the lower end of the recommended dose. As always, I’ll keep you guys updated as I go along!
