I have been LOVING these rose goodies from @mamonde_us they came in the February and March allure boxes and I’ve been kind of obsessed with them since ‍♀️ ⁣ ⁣ The oil to foam cleanser uses damask rose oil to moisturize while cleansing so it never leaves your skin feeling tight. It also removes makeup! I’m a huge fan of the 2-in-1 double cleanser, aka face washes that also take your makeup off. It’s extremely convenient and more sustainable than using a makeup wipe every day! Although I feel like it might be too good to be true, and could be bad for the skin in some way? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ if you have any insight on this, please comment and let me know! ⁣ ⁣ The rosewater toner has become essential to me. It also boasts damask rose as a moisturizing ingredient, but contains lactic acid to gently exfoliate the skin as well! This is surprising to me because my skin never feels tingly, irritated, or even the slightest bit dry after using this! The lactic acid is a very small concentration, so that may be why, but anything that can exfoliate and moisturize at the same time is good in my book! ⁣ ⁣ Plus, both of these smell like rose, which one of my absolute favorite scents. I will definitely be repurchasing these! Have you tried them? What are your thoughts?

Morning Skincare Routine ☀️⁣ ⁣ I had a 20 minute long group presentation in Spanish at uni yesterday and I was freaking out about it, so of course, my skin is freaking out now too. I’ve got some congestion around my nose and chin, and a freaking cold sore from the stress. I wish professors would just get the hint and stop assigning group projects ⁣ ⁣ I thought I would share my morning routine, since I switched up the products a little bit from what I usually do. Keep reading to hear some of my thoughts! ⁣ Cleanse: @olehenriksen pore balance sauna scrub- I know I only used this two days ago, but my skin was craving it. It is literally the perfect way to wake up your face after getting four hours of sleep. ⁣ ⁣ Tone: @bybibeauty mega mist (gifted)- still my go-to toner for the mornings. I'm even bringing it to uni today for a mid-day spritz!⁣ ⁣ Hydrate: @goodmolecules hyaluronic acid serum- like a drink of water for the skin. Leaves my face looking soft and moisturised. ⁣ ⁣ Eye cream: @olehenriksen banana bright- do I even need to say anything? This is my HG and I love it with all my heart. ⁣ ⁣ Moisturiser: @youthtothepeople adaptogen deep moisture cream mixed with their superberry oil (gifted)- super hydrating, calming, and adding the oil makes my skin look so glowy!⁣ ⁣ Sunscreen: @dermalogicaaus prisma perfect spf 15 (gifted). I just received this in the mail and I was so excited to try it! I felt so nice on the skin and left no white cast at all. There are a lot of added skincare benefits, and I will definitely need to educate myself on them in the future. The spf is low, so I think I will only wear this on days that has a low UV rating, or when I’m inside all day with no windows (aka the prison that is university) ⁣ As a sort of skincare topper, I also applied the Ole Henriksen banana bright primer for a nice glow before makeup. This also has vitamin C in it, so it is sort of a skincare and makeup hybrid. ⁣

Monday night staples ✨✨ . @omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask* — I really like this deep cleansing clay mask, it draws out impurities and leaves my skin clean and refreshed. I usually leave it on for about 20-30 minutes before I rinse off. Great to use day or night! ‍♀️ . @agentnateur Youth Serum* — I always finish off my night routine with this lovely rose oil it’s very calming and soothing on the skin. And it smells absolutely incredible . @drbarbarasturm Lip Balm* — last but not least, lip balm! I like to apply this just before bed, it hydrates and heals my dry lips overnight. Love!! . . *Gifted

❄️❄️❄️ What is the last face mask you used, and why You guys all pretty much guessed this mask correctly. It’s the Ole Henriksen Cold Plunge Mask. ❄️I used it because I needed a quick AHA/BHA blast (even though I had it on for an hour taking pictures). ——Alpha/Beta Hydroxy Acids are my go to if I need a quick skin pick me up. Acids are small molecules, so they are able to penetrate deep into the skin and exfoliate hard to get dead skin. This leaves us with smooth refreshed skin immediately- and over time helps with skin clarity, brightness, breakouts, firmness, fine lines... and more. Acids will make your skin sensitive to the sun though, and undoing all of that hard work... Which is another important reason to wear your sunscreen!
