Now, they're well worn and will require a lot of work, but these two @gplandesign arm chairs are going to look awesome once restored. They need new foam throughout and the wood work sanded and treated. Our neighbours told us they originally bought them in 1954 as a wedding present to themselves. Just to think, that was only 9 years after the end of WW2!

The shit you've got to do for a truely open kitchen! The dust, the microwave meals, the sleepless nights, the one million trips to @screwfix_uk, the money worries. But, you know what? It's so bloody worth all of it. I knew the moment we viewed this house what we could do with it and we are so nearly there. For those going through the same struggles, just keep bloody at it.
