In honour of meeting with the legend "Annegret Fleischer" today morning, I believe this is the appropriate video. From her favorite line, the mighty, "the" chronograph Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon with solid pink gold dial. Limited to 100 pieces. * For those who do not know, Annegret Fleischer is one of Lange's first two designers along with the other legend Helmut Geyer. She is with the company since 1991 and has work behind every chronograph from the brand since then. Considering how the Datograph changed the modern watchmaking in 1999, the introduction of the "mighty" Double Split with disengagement mechanism and Tourbograph pieces; you know why I call her a legend. She was and still there the whole time! * Soon, an interview of her will be published and I strongly encourage you to discover her work and what does she mean for Lange. Meeting with her this morning, after first reading about her years ago was absolute joy to me. And she very much loved the work of Langepedia which is the ultimate blessing for me! * Back to this watch, absolutely one of the most badass pieces I've ever handled and the best movement I've ever laid my eyes upon; Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon deserves and can handle all the superlatives you can throw at it. With its patented stop-tourbillon, instantenous perpetual calendar indications (a video will come) and buttery smooth chronograph, it is a true piece of watchmaking. * The movement architecture is to me unrivaled. Yet no one can describe this better than another legend, Mr. Dufour "It is the best chronograph ever been made. When you look at it there is a lot of emotion because you can feel the amount of hand work." * As always, thank you all for your time and support!

#Repost @clicking.n.ticking ・・・ This watch is the result of immense attention to detail The panda no date Dan Henry 1964 watch has the looks, attention to details and fit & finish much above its price point. Online photos and videos don’t do it justice. There are no errors on the dial. All the elements are correctly applied and the printing is very sharp. The sunburst effect on the reflective silver dial is perfect and the tachymeter ring is in a slightly contrasting matte white shade. The sunken in subdials with concentric rings are well executed under magnification and produce their sunburst effect quite well. All the hands, including the chronograph seconds hand, are aligned to absolute perfection, something that even some pricier watches don’t match. The glass crystal creates beautiful distortions and the bluish hue from the anti-reflection layer together with the shiny hour indices and the reflective dial adds a touch of class and elegance. On the hand and on the wrist the watch looks slimmer than the photos let you anticipate. The alternate layers of brushed and polished surfaces contribute to this appearance. The movement inside this piece is a Seiko, again a great asset at this price point. While it’s clearly a sports watch, it’s not a tool watch and with the right strap, you can make it very elegant and use it with more formal attire. The watch comes with a strap and a bracelet, as well as with a very useful and good quality watch roll and is guaranteed that will be used. In just one sentence, this watch is the result of immense attention to details that can only be fully experienced in person. I experienced a small hiccup with the DHL service and Dan Henry staff solved it immediately and gave continuous feedback in the issue. Have a look at this one!! Possibly the most beautiful watch I’ve ever seen. I feel absolutely lucky for having the opportunity to show this piece to you: Tourbillon Pour le Merite from circa 1995 in white gold with a splendid blue dial! Only “18” pieces in total. * “The bossiest launch of the any brand I’ve ever seen” says one dear collector friend about the introduction of the Tourbillon Pour le Merite in 1994, re-birth of Lange. It is indeed. The model is the first watch to combine -mainly a pocket watch mechanism- fusee and chain transmission system with a tourbillon in a wristwatch. * In total 200 pieces were produced; 150 in gold (different alloys) and 50 in platinum and 1 steel to talk roughly. However, there are couple of spices among these already rare, exceptional pieces which I was again fortunate enough to see a unique piece during a collectors’ visit. Bad thing is, I could not take a good photo of that one because my hands were literally shaking for 15 minutes straight! * To my knowledge, this one appeared only once in the market in 2013 and sold for 330,000 CHF. Both from historical and watchmaking point of view, this one is a grail watch for sure that deserves all the superlatives I can throw at! * As always, thank you all for your time and support!
