No, ONE more before I get back to posting my artwork again regularly. I’ve posted this one before, but to end the week of old pics, an ultimate then and now. At 17 and age 50. I was voted "most bizarre" back in the 1900's class of 1986. I was one of maybe 5 "alternative" kids in that school. #valleygirlgoth Us kids paving the way for all you bizarros. Talk about being bullied! It only made me stronger. Ridicule is nothing to be scared of. #adamant I used aqua net EXTRA super hold to keep up my foot high hair #deathrock OG or as it’s called now, #tradgoth. Im sad that i had a time in my life that I was embarrassed of that phase of my look and destroyed all my pics. Being the weirdo was very difficult, but got easier the more negative experiences I had. That’s right, all the jerky attitudes and comments made me stronger in the long run. I cried for a minute, then got up and continued to figure out what I was. Words (or objects) thrown at me have eventually rolled off. I’m a hyper sensitive person but what am i gonna do? Hide and be miserable cause a few people think I’ve looked stupid? I chose to be outside the norm, so being respectful of other people has always helped dispel people’s first impressions 9/10 times. I’ve always believed that words can’t hurt IF you don’t let them. That’s how strong you CAN be. And Please oh please, try to not to be swallowed up in the trends of art or subcultures, it will drown you. Be what you want, and how you want to do it.
