I was promised a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow! Throwback to a year ago when I trekked to Vinicunca, more commonly known as Rainbow Mountain. Even though it’s a relatively short hike it was one of the most difficult. It’s the highest point I’ve ever climbed, at a little over 17,000 ft. Part of the Peruvian Andes, it was concealed underneath ice and snow until recently, when climate change caused the glaciers to melt, thereby revealing the geological wonder, which has now become one of Cusco city’s most popular attractions. Definitely a highlight of my trip to Peru. Have you trekked Rainbow Mountain?

Throwback to when I watched the sunrise over Machu Picchu, before the huge crowd of people descended. So quiet and peaceful, it was pure magic. Hiking Peru was one of the greatest treks I’ve ever taken. What’s on your bucket list this year? @whoatravel

Flash back to a year ago when I packed my bags and trekked Salkantay trail to Macchu Picchu with @whoatravel! Feeling super nostalgic—It truly was a trip of a lifetime. Can’t wait to go back someday. . Shoutout to @whoatravel who empowers women through adventure. They offer guided treks to Machu Picchu, Everest Basecamp, Kilimanjaro, and Iceland just to name a few!
