Just a little progress photo for myself... ••• One of the things I’ve been working on for the past month (the November “before” photo was just the first back balance photo I found that I could use as a before shot; it’s not when I really started thinking about this) is strengthening my back balances (and hipkey roll ups) to use more muscle and control, rather than relying on my back flexibility. Though everyone assured me neither is more correct than the other, I think it’s important for me to be strong enough to do either. Ergo... this. ••• If anyone has any tips for more horizontal back balances, or favourite drills, please share!

I did a couple of little spins on my hoop today for the first time in a couple of months and omg the dizziness!! I don’t usually get dizzy while I’m in the air so I’m hoping once I get back into training body will remember what’s it’s like, I’m hopefully training for the first time since my injury on Thursday, wish me luck!!
