2/3... My second post on 3 things I struggled with in my business when I first started. 2️⃣ Comparing yourself to other business owners that are “doing better” than you. Girl (or boy) stop it right now. I totally get where you are coming from but stop. Comparing yourself to other artists can KILL your self-esteem. ❗️ My tip to you is, if you’re obsessing over a photographer who you think is better than you and you’re constantly trying to be like them in an unhealthy manner UNFOLLOW THEM. It’s fantastic not constantly being worried about what they’re posting on social media. Want to know why they’re doing so well? They’re not worried about “competition”. They know that what they do is special and unique to them only, and they are content and confident with that. ➡️ Instead of comparing yourself, think “What makes ME special and unique? What can I do to make that shine out in my work?” Only you can do what you do. Comparison can be the end of so many things, stop comparing and you will thrive. It’s okay to look up to people. We all do it, we all have role models but come on. You have so many amazing talents and have been focused on making someone else’s look like yours that you haven’t been able to shine like you should. Little man has arrived!!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ Jackson Michael was born on August 3rd at 12:50pm! 7lbs 7oz and 20 1/2 inches long. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We came home today and are getting settled into our new incredibly amazing normal with this dude. He’s perfect in every single way and we’re all completely obsessed with him. But I mean how could we not be?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m still wrapping my head around the fact that I’m a mom.
