Just some Sunday mornin’ face squishing.
The deep snow is gone, and although I love the thought of warmer weather, I always hate the sloppy, yucky ground that comes with the change of seasons.
Fox poop has a very strong odor, and let me tell you what, with all the sloppiness and freshly uncovered piles that surface when the snow melts, that odor is STRONG! Their urine, feces, and body (they have scent glands), all smell very strongly of a musky, almost skunk-like odor. I personally don’t mind it, as I’m used to it, but most people are not pleasantly surprised when they first smell it!

We’re still in the negative with wind chill today. So of course, these two are still in paradise! They haven’t TOUCHED their houses in days, haha, they’re soaking up all the cold and snow they can!
Yep, RIP to this year’s winter coat, Toto. Every year, I want sooo badly to pluck all of those fur chunks out, but he won’t let me! So when he walks by, I have to snag a chunk that’s hanging off of him all stealth-mode like.
Afternoon snacks are the best snacks!
