Day 8: Embossing
Heat Embossing is one of my favourite techniques which some of you might have noticed that is a regular feature in my projects. ArtFoamies are an absolute dream to stamp with Here I'm using Nat Kalbach's Broadway ArtFoamies Stamp which is part of a set and has a negative so that you can stamp the insides too! Wow embossing powders used: Fuchsia Fusion, Blue Topaz and Parma Violet
Loving my new pillow cases for the living room. I have been trying to find some pillows that I really like in exactly the color I would like for some time but they either were insanely expensive or not really the material I wanted. Kim and I had a little playdate and I made those using my new ArtFoamies stamps and a hand cut stencil. Check out my blog or story for the step by step tutorial. ⠀⠀

Day 29 – ArtGraf⠀
If you have taken a class with me in the past couple years, I have surely “forced” you to try ArtGrafs ;) No, seriously those little watercolor graphites are one of my favorite things to use with foam stamps. Simply wet the foam stamp a little bit, rub the water-soluble graphite on top and stamp. You can use different colors and blend them as well. Take note that this doesn’t work with any graphite- it needs to be like this one water-soluble. The ArtGrafs are so crazily pigmented that you can stamp several times, simply spritz some water in between on the foam stamp and check if you cannot get yet another wonderful image stamped off. ⠀
⠀
Day 27 – Sculpt⠀
I love using my foam stamps when sculpting little plates or bowls with air-drying paper clay. I rolled out my paper clay as you would roll out dough, put a plate or bowl of my desired size on top and then cut the clay around the edges. I then pressed my inked up foam stamps into the clay to create texture and pattern with a faint of color. For the bowl shapes, I put the clay disk into the bowl, shaped it to my liking and then let it dry overnight. I love these little pieces; they make great gifts and can be used to hold jewelry or other little tidbits. ⠀

Day 14: Embroidery
Embroidery was my first craft love and I loved making tiny little stitches which would eventually make a complete image or design. It was like painting with thread! Eventually I grew to love bead embroidery and embellishments as well, and there's something very soothing about the repetitive motion of moving the needle in and out of a cloth and the sound of thread moving through taut fabric is ASMR heaven I quite enjoyed how this little cactus pot turned out, I might just put him in a small frame to enjoy
