This event series is the first iteration of her ongoing research-based art project that explores new ways of mapping Aalborg’s social spaces and community economies by engaging with the city’s self-organized culture. We are excited to finish our summer holiday by participating in the interesting walk and discussion Ud af den hvide kube Monday 5th August from 7-9 pm. co-organized by Kunstpionererne, Art Room 1000fryd, f.eks., and Big Shark. The event seeks to discuss one of the categorical frameworks of art - the white cube. During the event elaborations upon and alternative possibilities from the white cube will be discussed within the context of the art scene in Aalborg. Is art liberated within the confines of the white cube? Are the contexts of the everyday excluded from this space? Who is reframing and creating counter models to the white cube, and why?
