Have you tried this yet? Magazine Resist Printing on the @gelliarts gel printing plate. This is such a cool thing to do! Every time I pull a ‘perfect’ print my heart skips a beat! I have to admit, it can be a tricky technique, many factors influence the result, like the consistency of the paint, the amount of paint, the kind of magazine, the paper you print on and all of those combined. A lot of error and failure, but... when it works out it is soooo rewarding! In my full video I did my best to explain all the steps to get the best result. Some serious collage fun is happening here! No idea where this going yet but playing around with some nice painted papers is always a good idea, right? I usually have no idea what I will end up with, and that is for me the best way. I learned that my final results usually didn’t look like the pictures I had in my head and I ended up being disappointed and feeling incompetent. Letting go of those pictures in my head made me feel so much more happy with whatever I create!! How about you? Do you always have a final outcome in mind when you start creating, or do you just go with the flow?
