I’m super happy that I got the chance to paint a green Somni from @ateliermomoni for @cybershopi I always love to get the whole dolls and be able to “play” a bit with them. Somni’s posing is amazing. So cuuute Recently, one of Lola’s (owner) dolls were recasted. This is so sad and heartbreaking because she worked so hard and long for her dolls. It’s her fulltime job and she earns money for her livelihood. If you are following her on facebook or instagram you will see how long it does until she finishes a doll. You see her workflow, her process in modeling the doll. It takes time. It’s not done in a few days. She spents weeks and months until she finishes a doll. And she don’t get any money for it until she sells them on her website. So it’s understandable why her dolls are so expensive. You are not only paying for a high quality doll but also for the time she spents on creating her dolls (and of course to support her for future works). Can you imagine how she must feel that one of her dolls were recasted? Don’t support Recaster. You are destroying a livelihood from a person who put so much love in her work.
