Peter Porker, my favorite secret keeper.❤️ I walked into a pet store and heard someone say “this one is dying, throw it away.” I immediately grabbed him up and took him to the vet. He was a teeny tiny piglet with, wait for it......dry skin. They were going to throw him away because he had DRY SKIN. He was taken from his mommy too soon, and being sold as a “teacup mini pig” for $300! Now he’s my BFF. He’s the best listener, often sleeps in our bedroom on his therapeutic bed, and exudes kindness and love more than anyone I know. I don’t understand who I would be if I hadn’t walked into that pet store five years ago and rescued my first piglet. He has changed me forever! Don’t know what I’d do without you, my love! ❤️

“ , ’ .” #tbt to my first Austin City Limits last year! ✨ Y’all, funny story, so get this; one of my favorite artists, @fatherjohnmisty played that evening at 7:00PM, and I stood in the crows in front of that stage a solid 20 minutes before his set started just to make sure I didn’t miss it (there are SO many artists, it’s an easy thing to do!). When his set started, I didn’t really recognize any of the songs, and his style seemed to have changed a bit since last time I saw him live, but I listened along and chalked it up to the fact that I hadn’t listened to his new album at the time at all, and let’s face it, I was pretty far away from the stage.... So there I am, enjoying the music, swaying, kind of feeling weirded out by his new sound, but giving it a chance.... when all of a sudden, he starts singing... ....MY LOVER’S GOT HUMOR... SHE’S A GIGGLE AT A FUNERAL... KNOWS EVERBODY’S DISAPPROVAL... ........and it FINALLY dawned on me: I had been standing there watching HOZIER for the last 30 minutes, THINKING it was Father John Misty in my exhausted drunken haze (I mean, we got there at noon, can you blame me? ). So my friend that I was with promptly notices my realization and says...”isn’t *name of stage* THAT one over there” as he points to a smaller stage all the way across Zilker park. I don’t think I’ve ever drunk-ran faster in my life Although it kind of sucked that by the time I made it to his stage he was literally playing the last half of his last song, it was such a wonderful experience to have spent that day surround by friends, old and new, and music; not only did I get to see a band I love for the first time live (@alvvays), and developed a taste for a genre of music I didn’t think I liked (EDM), but I got to see Paul McCartney at the end of the night and it absolutely made my year on the musical front I am incredibly excited to get to attend again this year again to see what shenanigans my love, friends, and I can get into! ✨✨ Have y’all ever been to ACL? WHO’S GOING THIS YEAR!
