When we take about ending of karmic cycles - this includes lessons learnt - both positive and negative. Karma can be carried over or accumulated over lifetimes. Many have even agreed to take on karmic debt from their bloodline and be the one to clear it in this current lifetime. ☯️ . 
We are always creating new karma. Every action and intention creates karma. It is one of the basic laws of the universe. Our effort should be geared towards trying to create positive karma. . Some easy ways to do this are: 
1. Be compassionate and kind 
2. Have an attitude of gratitude
3. Live purposefully
4. Forgive yourself & others - let go of old baggage
