With proud, @meesj015 and I present to you: the official proposal we made for @lufthansacargoag . To fit the last ever produced MD-11 in a special livery. After all the positive reactions and even a repost from Lufthansa Cargo, we really want to pitch this up to become something in reality. Therfore we payed a lot of attention to the livery from the 70s, and we made sure to adapt it that way that it wouldn't only fit the MD11 properly, but also economically and sustainable. Take the white engines for example. We kept it white instead of metallic grey for a simple reason. The nacelles are often being replaced during maintenance rounds. And to keep the livery fitting in, we kept it white because all the engines on the new livery are painted white in general. Same for the color blue. The blue color is the same color as the new livery. This is taken into account for the nacelles replacements that could take place on engine number 2 in the tail. This for the same reason to keep the replaceable parts the same colors without any Interference. Now I hear you think already: will the belly be polished bare metal? Well, no. But bare with me. @lufthansa operates the Boeing 747-8 with Tailnumber D-ABYT, in the same livery, but without the polished belly. This for the reason that it's cheaper to maintain when its painted Instead. But to create a simular appearance we decided to give it the silver grey metallic paint.
