The good folks at @macqueza sent me some Acwell and Giverny products to try. I’m glad they did so! I’ve stopped applying make up except on special occasions, and most of my cosmetics have expired. @acwell_official combines Korean medicinal ingredients with modern technology. Their products are free from parabens, artificial dye and mineral oil. The Acwell AC Return Toning Pad comes with embossed and smooth sides. The embossed side clears dead skin cells accumulated in pores while the smooth side soothes and moisturizes the skin. The main ingredient centella asiatica extract helps treat acne scars. Despite having the exfoliation side, it is suitable for sensitive and flaky skin. My skin has become very sensitive after pregnancy and it doesn’t sting my skin. @giverny_korea products contains ingredients from flowers of the Giverny Garden where Monet found inspiration. The ingredients are processed using high pressure techniques to maintain their effectiveness. Using products that are as natural as possible is really important to me since Baby Ash’s favourite activity is to rub her face against my face and lips whenever I carry her. I‘m using the Giverny Milchak Cover Cushion in Petal Beige. My cheekbone freckles could still be seen (pic 8-10) so I’ve to pat on some concealer (pic 7) but overall, it has a natural coverage that’s good enough. As for lips, I’m using the Giverny All Day Velvet Lip Mousse in Nobel Berry shade. It is the type of bold colour that I’ve been wanting to try. I’ve not seen myself in such lip colours except during Halloween and I love this look. If you’re into Korean skincare products and make up, @macqueza is a great platform to get them.
