⚡ Process ⚡ Part 1/6 Do you plan out your pieces before you start? Never! I don't plan out my pieces at all... I just start! Intuition is a hugely important part of my process and planning my art doesn't work for me. Even sketchbook work I feel stifles me and my creativity. I like to have my art capture exactly how I was feeling in that moment! Every mark is an expression of myself that day, the weather, my mood, my feelings, dancing, my joy, exuberance, happiness.. I believe that the energy and power of my art is connected to it developing and springing into being organically and I'm guided by the playfulness of the artwork and the magical wonder I feel when I'm lost in my studio. It's something glittery and special that cannot be planned out or strategised and develops through intuition and fun alone. I put on my favourite tunes that day, pick out colours that I'm drawn to and start mark making. Something wild and untamed mixed with something intentional...
