I normally don't like to post up other people's bikes or old catalog on my Bmx only page , but Ive discovered my un restored 1979 team jag may be one of these gold finished models . I still know nothing about the "gold special jag model " after contacting Waza at www.vintagemongoose.com and showing him close up photos of mine. He told me there was 2 versions of gold ...gold plated and candy translucent paint same stuff as the mongoose gold stems and stamped mongoose crank spiders. I will post close up shots of the finish on mine , up until now I always thought my nickel finish was just dirty and dusty with age .
