Other people’s opinions of you are NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!! • I was trying to decide what to wear today while listening to #girlstopapologizing. It just so happened at that very minute @msrachelhollis was talking about not caring what other people think of us. • I think I’m pretty good at this in a lot of ways, but I completely fail in so many others. One of those areas happens to be what I wear. I like to dress up and be ready. It’s just who I am. But over the years I’ve let people’s comments on why I would get all dressed up for nursing school, or how they think it’s ridiculous how people get so dressed up get to me. I often wonder what people will think if I wear high heels to target when it seems like a good majority of people aren’t. Isn’t that silly?! I often say I wish I lived in LA or New York so I could dress up and wear clothes deemed immodest in the Utah culture, and no one would think twice about it. • But #rachelhollis reminded me that it isn’t their problem, it’s MINE. Afterall, the judge mental people will judge anyway. So I put on my furry pink sweater that I love. And off to preschool we went! It might make others feel I’m too dressed up or that I look like the dog van in dumb and dumber, but most likely it makes them think absolutely nothing!! So I’m going to work harder to care less and be and dress as exactly who I am. Because doesn’t it feel good to be authentic and yourself?! ‍♀️

H E L L O it’s me and I’m alive! I haven’t posted for a couple months and I feel like I have so much to say and just not enough room in one post to say it, so I’ll just kick it off by saying I am so incredibly stunned by @kiraashphoto and the wonderful job she did! Y’all, we took these pictures YESTERDAY and she had them to me by this morning! She let me wear her coat in between pictures even though she only had a short sleeve shirt on underneath {and the wind chill made it feel like we were in the negatives}. I love her and her amazing talent! P.S. I live in the most beautiful valley. Can you believe these sand dunes are just a short drive from my house?! I also love that this is a place @kressjohnson spent so much time at during his high school years!
