The @bplboston is officially transitioning high tea from day to night at @library_tea! The Copley Square location of the library is now offering tea-infused cocktails inspired by classic novels in their brand new Map Room Tea Lounge, which held its soft opening yesterday. . Pictured is the “Tequila Mockingbird” (get it?) made with blood orange hibiscus-tea infused tequila, strawberry, lemon and Prosecco. Additional cocktails include the Dorian Gray (made with earl grey tea) and Catcher in the Rye (made with apple-berry infused rye), among other creatively imagined options. Beer, wine - and of course, tea - are also offered. . The newly renovated space features a cocktail bar with first-come, first-served seating, along with tables available for reservation. The menu includes the traditional afternoon tea assortment of finger sandwiches, petit fours and scones; along with a cheese & charcuterie board and a tasty selection of tartines. .
