Here's an eye drawing I recently completed using Bruynzeel Design graphite pencils sent to me by @royaltalensna. I enjoy working with graphite for the first true time in a while, and I like how this turned out for the amount of time I took on it (maybe 3/4 hours?). Here's my opinion of the Bruynzeel pencils I used: First, I really enjoyed the packaging of the pencils. They came in a nice padded container, much like how Caran D'ache Luminance pencils are packaged, that is inside of a sturdy box. The range of pencils was filled with all of the basics (2H to 8B). The 8B in the Bruynzeel set was able to get as dark as the 8B in the Derwent Graphic set, which is one of the best graphite pencils out there. The pencil blended out beautifully, and I was able to layer them a lot very easily. The price for the 12 set of pencils is $17, as compared to the price of $14 that a 12 set of Derwent Graphic pencils costs. That price is fair, as the pencils perform just as good as the Derwent ones and come in better packaging than them. OVERALL: These pencils are wonderful pencils that can compete with the top brands of graphite pencils.
