Vitamin B12. We need B12 to maintain healthy red blood cells which are vital to our wellbeing. Lack of B12 causes many symptoms including extreme fatigue, memory loss, nerve damage, itchy skin, muscular pain and can mimic depression. For some reason many people just don't absorb B12 through a normal diet and I'm one of them. Today is B12 injection day for me. I have it every 10 weeks and it keeps me healthy. Without it all of the above kicks in so a big thank you to the NHS and the switched on nurse who got me my diagnosis after several doctors visits, much frustration and many blood tests!
