Why remain jobless? https://dlightdigest.wordpress.com/2018/01/31/why-remain-jobless/ via @oriakuisrael
The Labour statistics report of Nigeria in Q4 2017 has shown that there is 7.9 million Nigerian youth aged 15-34 that are currently unemployed.
The figures are rising on daily basics. What do you think is the issue? These are my opinions:
1. Most graduates are not skillful enough for the jobs available
2. Most graduates are not experienced enough for the jobs available
3. Most graduates are too proud to work and gain experience while they aim for a better paid job
4. Most graduates have a streamlined view of the job they desire like ignoring private jobs for Federal jobs.
5. Most graduates are lazy: I remember one of them I interviewed for a job telling me the responsibilities for the job was too much.
6. Most graduates are ashamed to start small businesses and grow with it. You don’t need everything to start. Just start with what you have.
7. Most graduates are not ready to relocate in their search for a job.
Nothing is too small to start with while you prepare yourself for the desired job or dream job. I started by working with a law firm who was into real estate business and I got paid on commission. 5k if I was lucky to see a client.
The more skills and experience you add to yourself the more sellable you become to the market. The worth of my experiences so far should pay me 200k as salary but I still earn far less than this not because I don’t know what I want but being idle is not wise at all. You can start a business like I did or work by volunteering for other organizations.
Get your hands busy. This is only when your voice will matter when bigger opportunities comes your way.

What are your challenges?
Nigeria is faced with the challenge of raising a leader who would stand out for the people and not for his or her selfish desire. Guess what everything we need to become the Nation we desire lies here within us. We won't have cone this far if God has not placed in us all we need to overcome this challenge.
Listening to Rev Sam Adeyemi some day's ago, he said quoting the scriptures, "your challenge is specially customised for you" What are you going through? Business, career, family or what. You don't need to think to far.
Do these three and thank me latter
1. Ask yourself what led you there
2. Pray and act on what you can do
3. Discuss and share with a Mentor.
If you've got a big dream, then get ready to overcome big challenges. I just overcame one
