Had quite a few Cask Alés this weekend, as we explored Hampshire and Dorset. For once I didn't hesitate when ordering a pint of cask - no, I even gave @chrishallbeer free reign over what beers I shall have. I don't hesitate because I don't like real ale. The opposite is the case, I'm a huge fan. But today's problem lies with too many bar managers, supervisors, etc not being trained properly in how to keep cask ale, spoiling the potential there is in every cask. There's only a handful of pubs in London I would trust with it (besides every single Fullers pub tbh). Maybe this is one of the reasons I seek to get away to the countryside every weekend. It all comes down to a good pint of cask ale.
