And unusual buttons holes designed from vintage buttons from MacCulloch&Wallis store. I don’t think it is a new idea of holes making and I’m sure all you have seen this already in @stitchless_tv and also in @platyushko accounts, go to see how beautiful they are. I did those holes shapes for a reason so that the buttons would sit right in place. Just because of fabric stiffness buttons holes inside I made in lining ( wasn’t able get silk ) no any bulk or heavy look holes. Please go for more photos on my story. Here’s a tantalising corner of the bridal bouquet I created yesterday for Nikki who is getting married as I write... It contains over fifteen different varieties of perfectly beautiful flowers grown and picked with her in mind. When this lovely couple came to see me last year the cutting garden was looking a bit tired and end-of-seasonsy but Nikki was able to see through that and imagine May and all the delights there might be. I can never promise an actual flower because growing flowers as I do is not an exact science but what I can promise is that my brides will have the very best flowers in the garden on the day. When Nikki visited last week to see what we might have she might have been worried...there appeared to be plenty of gorgeous alliums but not a huge abundance of much else really -everything was just on the cusp of opening.... Luckily, I have never met a more laid back and optimistic bride and she kept the faith. Between us we willed the flowers into bloom and after a week of sunshine and warmth we had everything we could have hoped for. These intersectional peonies, the first of the roses and Patty’s Plum poppies opened up just for her.... Congratulations Nikki and Matt!
