A quaint dessert café has quietly opened in Jurong East and has recently received much fanfare from many. With a limited selection of cakes to choose from, you can be assured of its quality control and each order will come plated individually. The popular choices are the Dale ($8) and Puck ($8) with the former especially appealing to matcha lovers. With a buttery cookie-like base, the tower is constructed with matcha sponge with hidden surprises of matcha mousse and passionfruit to contrast the bitterness. The finishing touch of dusting the tower with more matcha powder elevates the bittersweet flavour further. O’TAH @otahsg has got to be one of the most interesting concept at Jewel Changi Airport! The innovation of the familiar otah is definitely worth a visit! A brand new concept by Lee Wee & Brothers that incorporates their traditional and signature otah with a modern twist, O’Tah’s The Coconut Collection consist of innovative otah flavours such as Pink Salmon, Scallop, Petai & Anchovy and Cream Cheese & Corn, with the last one being our favourite amongst the four. The additional of cream cheese balances the spicy kick from the otah mix, well-paired in our opinions! Our favourite item has got to be the Reuben Roll, which features chunks of otah and prawns, anchovy crumbs, good ol’ slaw and tangy lime mayo in a well toasted buttery brioche bun. Almost a lobster roll-ish experience, the affordable pricing of $10.90, including a good amount of fries, along with the pack of flavours and textures, this is a #musttry Other creations include the O’Tah Fries, Ben’s Burger, Tah-Co and more, which are really delectable as well!
