“Uhhhhh, Houston, we have a........jellyfish?” —————— So this originally started out as a huge jellyfish attacking some divers. But then I remembered...I just did an underwater piece...with a diver being attacked. Also even though they can sting you, a lot of jellyfish are quite beautiful and peaceful to look at. And wanting to dabble in some surreal stuff, I said let’s lose the water AND the gravity and take this sh!t to space. So with that I give you the Space Jelly! —————— It’s definitely a bit different than my normal stuff, but I’m ok with that. It’s fun to explore new concepts. My photography page use to stress me out so much because I needed everything to match and I worried so much about my grid. I wouldn’t post cool shots because they weren’t the style I was going for. This page completely freed me of that. ——————- I have been designing with the theme Escape in mind. I love trying to design something for the monthly photoshop challenges. I find it fun and challenging to be given a theme and do your own take on it. So for this one, escape meant to escape from what is real, and arrive at what is surreal. Anyway hope you guys enjoy it. Behind the scenes of yesterday's project.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ This was actually only about 30 minutes of photography, and 1 hour of editing, which makes it one of the quickest edits I normally do. My daughter has a fascination with mario right now, although she's not really sure how to play yet. I added a blue soft box to simulate the colors of a TV screen on her face, and then added an orange light above her head for the glowing box.
