Barry went to the vet today for a check up and rewrap on his cast. Bad news.. he broke his pin. Again. We try so hard to keep him still and calm. Of course, we cannot be home ALL day. He’s always crated if we aren’t home, but he does root and dig if we wants under covers or if he’s excited to see someone that’s coming inside. The vet advised us to wait 3 weeks and see how it looks. He said it does look like it’s trying to heal, but he needs to stay off of it. If that doesn’t work, plating may the next option, which isn’t what we want because it’s at least $4-5000. I’m also not a fan of it either because of multiple reasons but I won’t get into that. I’m just ready for it to be healed and I know Barry is too! Photo creds to our vet! They are an awesome team that have worked so hard to take care of our sweet Barry. We always know he’s in good hands there! : My son, Riley Royce . This is the second, drastic life change I’m experiencing. I’ve never gotten injured this badly before! The things that I normally could do, I can’t do or I’d have to find creative ways to do them. I’m also moving slower than usual which is kind of annoying. So, It’s definitely been challenging, but challenges are fun and I always remind myself that I’m a parent... there is nothing I’ve experienced that is more challenging than that. . Anyway, I’m feeling pretty good overall and my psych is still goin’ strong! Have a great weekend everyone!
