salut !!...first cut-out buckets made in France‼️this is a different VERY groggy clay and it’s incredible to build with...love working with itand 3 vases made with left over slab pieces ...mostly work in progress in this post cause that’s what I’ve been doing ...no car for 2 weeks and that’s fine...no beautiful distractions ...well except for the magical close surroundings ...and I have been making some yummy food with my new/used stove we bought from a nearby brocante(flea market)... Petra and I saw the stove on one shopping spree and thought it was great but decided to leave it and go back the next day with a gas tank to be sure it worked ...which it didso we bought it and got it into the gite with help from Tony the nearby neighbor with the fabulous garden...only to find that we didn’t have the oven rack...so we’ll go back again tomorrow and hopefully we’ll find the rack among the literally millions of items ...if not Petra knows a local welder who can make us one or I’ll use the too small rack from the former stove and put it on kiln posts...why not!! some how this used stove could end up costing more than a new one ...but then we wouldn’t have this crazy adventure☺️ok all for tonight from this magnificent little spot ...a la prochaine(see you next time) mon amies ☺️#woodfiring # #ceramiquecontemporaine #laborne #thestudio #poterie #ceramique #buckets #white slip #coveredjars #bowls
