The classic bibimbap, for ¥880, (even their presentation is already mouth-watering) uses fresh ingredients and gives off a delicious meal. Mixing the egg with the rest of the vegetables, it surely completes that bibimbap you find in Korea . The beef kalbi, for ¥1280, is a bit expensive for only 6 pieces, but mind you, the taste and the seasoning, even if it’s just simple seasonings, it’s tender meat and delicious flavor lives up to its specialty yakiniku . The seasonal collection only found in @starbucksreserve_tokyo @starbucksreserve . I didn’t know that starbucks has this kind of shop, or even so, a roastery with a 4-story building. You wouldn’t expect the typical starbucks that only has a few selections, but you will experience and see how they make their coffee, and will offer you a variety of selections from teavana to expressos to their signature drinks that are only found in this coffeehouse . During spring time, you can order the Blossoming Sakira for ¥800, and the Floating Blossom, also for ¥900. They’re a little bit pricier than the original starbucks coffees but it’s definitely worth the try . The Blossoming Sakura is a cold drink, mixed with a bit of soda, cream foam, tea, and a bit of sakura flavored ice and jellies. Once mixed together, the taste will just fuse into your mouth. It’s like an upgraded soda yet not too strong and not too sweet . The Floating Blossoms literally has floating sakura petals on top. It’s a bit weird to eat it, but it’s fragrance is one of a kind. Mixed with the hot tea, it’s a soothing and calming drink that would help you relax in your busy day ☺️ . If you like coffees, or even if you don’t, do give it a try and visit this place. I’m finally able to taste the ever so famous soufflé pancakes (Kiseki Pancakes) from @j.s.foodies, and yes it’s definitely worth it . I always see a lot of instagram posts about this soufflé, and ever since before, I’ve always wanted to try it. Luckily, they have a branch in Hong Kong, and when I knew about it, I told myself that I just had to try it . For 99HKD, this Kiseki pancake, once you pierce into it, you’ll be amazed by its texture. The cream and the soft pancake definitely complements each other the sweetness, the softness of the inside, and everything else that comprises the Kiseki pancakes, even if it’s simple, and even without milk or syrup, it’s just deliciously good . The tea is also a good drink after the meal since it balances out the pancake’s taste . A little heads up, you do need to wait in line especially if it’s peak hours like lunchtime (we waited, and I had no regrets ) . : J.S. This is by far the best and most authentic dumplings I’ve ever had . From the menu, we ordered no. 5 (corn and mushroom dumpling soup), for 40HKD, and no. 10 (cheese fried dumpling), for 38HKD. . Both have real meat, so fulfilling, and they just burst with flavors. The authenticity of the dish, the seasonings and the soup, everything is just deliciously good . If I live in Hongkong, I would always buy at this place (near Tsuen Wan Station), and I would definitely recommend it to you guys. If you like dumplings, do give it a visit when you go to Hongkong . Who else is craving for some Chinese food? . For only 4500원, you can order the classic and delicious 짜장면 (Jjajangmyeon), or the black bean noodle dish. Topped with a thick and rich sauce, with diced vegetables and pork, this dish is a sure hit when you’re up for some Korean-Chinese style dish. (I’ve been craving for this for so long, and this restaurant just hit my tastebuds. They’re 짜장면 is ) . Of course, when there’s 짜장면, 탕수육 (tangsuyuk), or the sweet and sour pork comes side to side with it. For only 11000원 you can get a serving good for 2 people already . I don’t know why but there’s just something about the combination of 짜장면 + 탕수육. It’s like if one is missing, it’s not going to be a full course meal; and it’s like you’re missing 50% of the whole dish . PS. They also have the 탕짜면 (half Jjajangmyeon and half tangsuyuk), but it’s usually available in a certain hour (ex. 3-5pm) or for delivery . The 핫초코마시멜로설빙 (hot choco marshmallow sulbing), for 12500원, is one of the new flavors in sulbing and I must say, once mixed with strawberries, everything just fits into place . The hot chocolate, dark chocolate bits, sweet-sour strawberry, and marshmallow, everything is just so delicious ❤️ . I thought at first that it was going to be sweet because of the chocolate, but it was the total opposite. The sweetness of the hot chocolate was just right for the shaved ice and dark chocolate bits.
