I just realized today that creating fleeting beauty is kind of my thing. Flowers that wilt and die, balloons that shrivel and pop, gardens that freeze and go to bed for the winter. . . Some people think it’s a “waste” to enjoy things that don’t last. But hello, without getting too deep here, that’s life! . . I love beauty that grabs your attention as you walk by, but is gone the next time you pass it. Why? Because it makes you stop, take it all in, and truly appreciate it. . . I’m pretty sure this is like the whole point of our lives in general. But this is instagram, it’s 8pm, and I’m ready for bed. So I’ll just leave you with this monochrome balloon install for the cutest @laur.lore baby shower, that’s long gone now.

Things are happening at Willrett Flower Co. today. Things that require a bunch of coffee. I just wanted to pop on to say how lucky we are to work with the BEST people. These brides, these families, seriously, you are amazing. I have so much love for my past, current, and prospective couples I could burst. . . It makes working our butts off when it’s 30 degrees out totally worth it! I’m going to do my best to show you some of the gorgeous blooms we’ve got to work with today but... can’t insta with gloves on and it’s CHILLY. . . Xo friends, and happy almost weekend!! Ok I’ve got two goals for this years Christmas shopping. First, I want to get it ALL done in November. I’m always stressful last minute shopping right before Christmas. I hate both stress and shopping so not happening this year! ✌️ . . Second, I only want to buy gifts from small businesses. Especially makers and locals!! So, let’s help each other out. Christmas is about so many wonderful things and I think a lot of us spend it throwing money at random crap because we feel like we have to. . . NOT THIS YEAR FRIENDS.
