I remember when I first decided to get into real estate! I was 9 months pregnant and no longer wanted to work my 4-12 shift working with the mentally ill population! Which meant my sons first of everything! - I had my own office and degrees on the wall! I thought I had accomplished my before 30 goals but then I realized I wasnt about that and I wasn’t done yet! I no longer wanted to work for an employer! - I didn’t see too many mothers investing in real estate and I wanted to know how they got it done! Actually I was bored one day and looked up the word landlord and it said “a MAN who collects money for rent!” Ummm - I had my son and immediately starting handing out business cards while pushing my stroller I created a website etc! In 2014-2016 I got to know Newark, NJ really well when I decided to House-Hack in my triplex and live rent free! I drove around a lot and found this abandoned projects! Until this day it’s still abandoned but I guarantee you a savvy investor is going to buy these properties and turn them into co-ops!
