**OUT NOW! MY FIRST PODCAST INTERVIEW** Link in bio! A few weeks ago I was invited by none other than the legendary @holmesreport to be a guest on their PR industry podcast #TheEchoChamber to discuss all things African PR landscape, African marketplace trends and diversity and inclusion (or lack of) in the industry. I say a few rad and controversial things including comments about my experiences as a black Brit in the US PR industry as opposed to being a black American and how that plays out, as well as sharing details about the opportunities and current African PR landscape. I was really chuffed to be invited to speak on one of the leading PR industry platforms about the work that I do in Africa that often doesn’t even feel like work, I enjoy it THAT much. The same podcast where so many PR industry giants have been previous guests and then to be invited myself was a definite ‘smell the roses’ moment AND a sign that my influence and work in the field continues to be recognized. In 2013 I wrote an article for @blackenterprise ‘The Top Ten African Leaders to Follow on Twitter’. I included TOE who, for those who don’t know, is one of Africa’s richest men. A #Nigerian self made billionaire, an economist, entrepreneur & philanthropist. Fast forward & lots of fun details later, I moved to #Nigeria and spent a stint leading his global PR & Communications for his private investment company @heirsholdings & incredible foundation @tonyelumelufoundation It remains a career highlight to date...like c’mon, leading the global Comms for an #African leader who is at the forefront of the development of the Continent?!?!
