For those taking the NCLEX...I had failed and struggled classes in nursing school and I had all 265 questions on my NCLEX and passed. My sister who was an honor roll student did really well in nursing school got all 265 questions on her exam...and guess what she also passed. There’s no such thing as one being better than the other. It’s possible.

By the way she was more scared and nervous after her exam...felt really bad
Left: First Day as a RN. Felt very unsure about everything . Asked a lot of questions. I was scared.

Right: 1 year as a nurse. More confident with myself. People come to me for questions now I still don’t know everything but I ask! Full time NP student and Full time nurse!

To all you new nurses and new grads this semester it’s okay to be scared and not know everything. You will learn quickly and don’t feel like your a nuisance or not good enough...because you are. I’m one year in and I feel like I know so much but not everything! I still ask questions and that’s okay.
The best feeling is knowing you are capable of anything if you put your mind to it. Don’t let anyone tell you your not smart enough. if you do you will believe it. Because you are capable of anything. Work for it and it will come your way. Working on theory and studying for my pathology quiz! The grinding doesn’t stop until you reach for the top. Alhamdulillah for the accomplishments I have achieved so far.
