Let’s talk about something a little controversial.... _____________________________________________________________ I want to preface this post by saying this is not meant to offend anyone, these are just my personal opinions. I recently saw beaded wefts being promoted in a way that made me feel so uncomfortable and sad for potential clients that may have seen it. It was something along the lines of “you should only take the high end clients that are willing to hand over $1-2000 an appointment.” My jaw dropped to the floor! Call me crazy, but i believe that EVERY. SINGLE. woman/man should have the opportunity to look and feel amazing without having to take out a loan to do so. Yes, extensions are expensive. They are an investment for sure! But there are some companies/stylist’s that are charging a ridiculous amount and only catering to the “elite” clients, therefore making any other method of beaded wefts appear not as good since they don’t come with that high end price tag. I’m saying this loud and proud “WE ALL DO THE SAME THING” there are so many amazing beaded weft trainings out there and no method is better than the other in my opinion. I also believe that no client should be shamed for not being an “ideal” high end client. That is not reality! And my single moms, single income families or college student clients should not be denied an opportunity to feel beautiful because of their budget. Don’t get me wrong, i still make a good living and charge my worth doing extensions. But i do not need to shame clients to do it.
