Stoffwindeln Teil 2 Vorteile und Kosten : So weiter geht’s ! Ich wollte euch mal einige Vorteile von #stoffwindeln nennen: 1. Der aller erster Vorteil ist ganz klar ... sie sind Umweltfreundlich ! Eine herkömmliche Wegwerfwindel braucht ganze 500 Jahre bis es verottet das übliche Kind braucht 5.000 Windeln bis es trocken wird... so jetzt rechnet mal . Durch die Nutzung von Stoffwindeln tut ihr der Umwelt um 1,5 Tonnen Müll etwas gutes . 2. Gut verträglich. Unsere persönliche Erfahrung hat gezeigt , Stoffwindeln(SW) sind viel besser für die Haut ! Wir hatten insgesamt nur 2x einen Windelauschlag. Einmal weil wir eine Wegwerfwindel(nennen wir mal WWW) benutzt haben und einmal wo E-L gezahnt hat (hat aber nur einen Tag angehalten ) . Ansonsten hatten wir tatsächlich NIE Probleme damit . Eine herkömmliche WWW besteht übrigens aus reine Chemie (unter anderem : chemische Farbstoffe, acrylsäuere, Paraffine usw.) und Erdöl. Eine SW besteht überwiegend aus natürlichen Materialien . 3. Kostenfaktor : ja die Anschaffung von ca. 300€ am Anfang ist ziemlich teuer aber wenn man bedenkt das man für die gesamte Wickelzeit mit WWW etwa 2000€ pro Kind ausgibt (und man aber die SW sogar für 2 Kinder nutzen kann) dann sieht man das es sich lohnt ! Zudem lassen sich die SW wirklich super verkaufen wenn ihr fertig damit seit. Übrigens gibt es in ganz vielen Gemeinden sogar einen Zuschuss für die Nutzung von SW! Bei uns zB. Ist es so: Man muss nur eine Rechnung vorlegen und kann bis zu max. 50€ pro Kind zurück bekommen . 4. Das Kind wird schneller trocken! Das kann ich von unserer Seite aus tatsächlich nur bestätigen ! E-L und auch ihre Cousine wurden beide mit Stoff gewickelt und beide sind mit nicht einmal 2 Jahren trocken gewesen! Bei uns waren es ziemlich genau 22 Monate . In der SW merkt ein Kind dass es nass wird im Gegensatz zu der WWW die ewig lang trocken bleibt . 5. Und sie stinken nicht ! In der WWW riecht man oft den Urin oder . Zudem sind die SW richtig hübsch es gibt sie in ganz viele verschiedene Farben und Designs und machen auf jedenfall was her ! In Teil 3 erkläre ich ein bisschen etwas über das waschen und was man alles braucht .

At 9 months we are starting our cloth nappy journey. ⠀ ⠀ I considered using cloth while I was pregnant, but we decided we would start with disposables during the hectic and unpredictable first few months, and then the reflux sh*tstorm hit, and I was spending most of my time pumping and then syringing milk into Ted. Then my anxiety became so crippling that even trying to manage the most basic of household maintenance was overwhelming, and the whole idea just fell out of the picture. ⠀ ⠀ But now I feel in a much better and more organised place, and I really think I have the mental and physical energy to give cloth a go.
