oh i am in minnesota and today we explore the japanese gardens! ⛩

In the middle of this current winter wonderland you’ll find the @ComoZooConservatory. Room after room, with walkways lined by exotic plants and trees that reach as high as the vault glass ceilings go, I found my tropical sanctuary. . As I sat on a bench by one of the ponds, couldn’t help but soak in the moment and tune in to my surroundings: the melodies from the live band; the interaction of families by the fountains; the full-bodied taste of my wine; observing those who were reading books and others who were sketching the beauty all around us; the rays of light that shone down from the tree line above; a photographers paradise. . Despite the outdoor single digit temps, blankets of snow, and this structure being built mainly with glass windows, it felt warm in there. Maybe it was the company, perhaps it was the wine , either way, my shoulders felt a little less tense and mind a little clearer. Nature wins again. Can’t wait to revisit this gem.

BREAKING NEWS A snowy white female baby Dall’s sheep was welcomed into the world Sunday morning and is now prancing about in her home at Como Zoo. The baby was born on the fifth day of the fifth month, and is the fifth lamb to mother “Storm”, and thus has been aptly named “Quinn” (5 letters!). She can be seen scampering around the exhibit she shares with her mother “Storm”, father “Sylvester”, one-year-old sister, “Sunny” and almost 2 year old sister “Drizzle”. #ComoZoo #MySaintPaul #OnlyInMN
