After a long weekend of rest and fun I'm back to work today just as sore as ever so it's a barefoot kind of day. I am so past hiding my pain or foot at work. If I need to wear no shoes, sit, take my pills or wear my compression stocking and loose joggers I couldn't care less. I am here to do my job and if I need anything to help me do that I will. I've tried lots of different rub in pain killers/ibuprofen gels/deep heat gels etc and some do give me a little relief as an addition to my painkillers but not much- Has anyone else found any that work well for them? The first time since me OP I've felt upto getting on my yoga mat. I feel I have been so gentle to my body over the last few weeks that I want to get back in touch with the body that has carried me through this yet again. I have given it time to heal and rest and now i feel ready to reenergise it, slowly easing into movement again. 1 week on an not a lot has changed but hopefully not long till the stitches can come out. I am becoming restless.
