Do you have a lot of hair, and want to make sure it stays how it supposed to, under you wig, without any bumps? Just wear two wig capes to make sure your hair stay in place, and to make sure you don't have any weird bumps. If you want to have it extra secure, wear MANY bobby pins. But be careful with wearing them both on top of each other! I try to do everything as low budget as I can- everything is mostly thrift store or dollar tree. You’d be surprised at what you can find! Here is the promised bootcover tutorial. --------------------------------------------- What you need: • scissors • needle and threat/ sewing machine • pins to pin your fabric • your fabric(preferably something stretchy) • If your fabric isn't stretchy: a zipper • your boots • How to do it: 1. For exact fit: put your boots on. Place a piece of fabric on both sides, and pin it together. (Like in the picture but the boot is on your foot.) Alternative way: Lay your boot on the fabric. Put something like a pool noodle in it so it doesn't sag in. Put another piece of fabric over the boot. Pin it together. 2. Carefully pull the boot and your foot out of the pinned fabric. 3. Fix any ripples in the fabric so it lays flat. 4. Sew a stretch seam along the pins. Leave the top and the hole where the heel will poke through open. 5. Cut of the extra fabric. 6. Try on your bootcover. Make any necessary changes or fixes. 12 Days of Cosplay Tips day 3 How to curl a wig! ‍♀️ Difficulty: Medium/Novice . SWIPE LEFT FOR THE VIDEO! ⬅️ You can use heat tools to style your synthetic wigs (as long as the fibre is heat resistant!) Needed: - Flat iron (I use mine at 210 °F even though Classic Arda wigs can take up to 420 °F. I prefer lower heat and more passes. My flat iron was $3.99 at Value Village.) - A curling iron (unplugged/cold/turned off! This is only for shaping the curl. The wider the barrel the looser the curl.) - Wig hairspray (got2b Glued is the best option!) Pro tip! Never use the same hair tools you use on your real hair on your wigs! Your hair has lots of oils in it and can dirty your wigs! The wig is a trimmed Venus in Lilac, from @ardawigscanada! . Tomorrow will be a sewing tip!
