I'm sharing this - I wanted to go to a scene from my favourite episode - The Empire Strikes Back - Luke went to seek out Master Yoda on the swamp planet of Dagobah, in a bid to increase his Jedi skills and knowledge of the Force.• • That story resonates in day to day life where you could be learning a new skill as an apprentice or you may be passing that skill onto someone else as a teacher. In my case with this instagram page I learn new mixology skills from my fellow drinkstagrammers or industry heavyweights and then pass onto to you lovely people. I’m also constantly passing on all sorts of skills I have learned to my two daughters even when I get an eye roll as a thank you! • But as Yoda said “Pass on what you have learned” . On Dagobah Luke battled with himself and Yoda felt Luke could easily fall into the path of the dark side if his feelings went unchecked. . With this in mind I wanted to recreate Dagoba and a combination of 2 classics representing the conflict in Luke. For this one I've gone and twisted a last word with some @thekingsginger Ginger spirit in place of gin with a nod Jamie Lannister who is known as the king slayer after he stabbed Aerys targaryen in the back. . I've also simulated some blood with @luxardo_uk sangue morlacco. The death of Aerys took place in the fire and ice book so why not set some ice on fire I thought......
