QUICK TIP: Love doing the same admin task over and over again? Me neither. So, why not make yourself a little SEO cheatsheet? Do it once, and then reference it over and over to make blogging and site updates easy peasy. I’ve recently started doing these for all of my full branding clients, because I believe it’s such a powerful tool, and now it’s an integral part of my website workflow. Even if you’re not working with me, here’s how you can get your own! This will probably take you about 30-45 minutes! 1. Install Keywords Everywhere, a free browser extension. 2. Type into Google what you think people are searching for in order to find you. Keywords Everywhere will automatically give you relevant search terms in the right-hand side of your browser in Google. Do a bunch of searches and download all the CSV files of related search terms. 3. Combine all your CSV spreadsheets into one. Delete anything not relevant. 4. Sort your list by cost-per-click, volume, etc and then highlight all the strongest keyword phrases for your brand. 5. Save the file on Drive — Share it with your team and use it again and again to name your images for SEO, add alt text, name pages for SEO, title your site, etc! Like this?
