Well @miniwar_painter was good enough to pick me up a Lieutenant Amulius but I really hated the head of the model so what to do what do?! Easy, give him a boss head swap and a nice shiny power fist. Painting him in the colours of the Templar Brethren as I feel it fitting all commander structure of the Fists have the choice of remaining normal yellow or donning the black of the elite order from the Heresy. What trench could be complete without sand bags?!?! It's WIP Monday and we're back with some more progress on the Krieg Knight bases! Got some softer transitions in the ground work and, of course, added some awesome sand bags for that extra detail. Fair enough, I can kind of accept that the Imperial Guard may wish to use horses/mounts but why not have Mordian Fancy Horses, Valhallan Tauntons, Catachan lizardy things etc when they released each line. Yes, Forgeworld released specific riders for both the regiments of Krieg and Tallarn but regular guard players were stuck with these nomadic warriors from Attila. They look odd enough on their own nevermind alongside a completely different regiment. Nonetheless they were the only option on the regular GW site for a loooong time. I expect the Rough Riders are a concept that may not see the next Guard codex. THOUGHTS ON THE ATTILANS?
