#abmidyearstashchallenge Oils This is the first time that I haven't really wanted to apply much oil on my face. Usually I apply an oil as the very last step but I think my skin is more balanced these days and not as dry. I will go back to incorporating oils again when the weather gets colder. Some quick reviews of acne and hyperpigmentation-fighting treatments I've been trying lately: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Paula's Choice 10% Niacinamide - This was the product that really got me into niacinamide! It's great for clearing pigmentation without irritation, and looking after your barrier function. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ O Cosmedics Multi-functional Peel - A lactic acid product containing a very gentle lactic acid complex. I'm a fan of lactic acid, and this has been really good at being gentle while still effective. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Dermalogica AGE Bright Clearing Serum - This has niacinamide and salicylic acid. It's nice to see naicinamide popping up everywhere! I'm still trying this out at the moment so no strong opinion yet, but I like it so far! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Masque - This is a nice kaolin clay mask, but I didn't find that it did much on my skin over a standard clay mask, probably because I use so much salicylic acid already. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Have you tried any of these?
