I started off making and experimenting, taking lots of photos of my designs and putting my favourites out there in the hope I’d reach brides, grooms and clients that would allow me to have lots of creative freedom and create unique florals for their special day... after much persistence, experience and tons of practice we now only take up to 6 “full service” weddings per year and our couples are so eager to hear from me and what we want to create for them (instead of being very strict about their wants). It’s so rewarding, exciting and sometimes frustrating to know that “good things take time”. • If you’re in the early stages or wanting to make a change with your business or career, practice patience and know that if you work hard, have faith and be YOU “it” will come. • This is a mock up for a wedding we are designing next year. It’ll be held by the ocean () & we’ll be taking inspiration from Dutch masters paintings but with a modern, Oh Flora take!

And after a while away, we’re back in Sydney and ready to go from tomorrow! ✨A few weeks ago we hosted a workshop in Mexico City a few weeks ago, then onto Isla Mujeres (off the coast of Cancun) for bridesmaids duties and multi-day wedding fun. We then hopped on a flight to New Orleans and had almost too much fun in that wonderful city... (if you’ve been you’ll likely know what I mean!). After a few days there we hired a car and drove to Nashville via Memphis - so fun, so much good food, so much incredible music! We dropped off the car in Nashville & hopped on a plane to celebrate Matteo’s 30th birthday in NYC. After travel & transit of around 30 hours, we drove 1.5 hours to pick up our beloved Cooper Dogs & then back down the South Coast to celebrate Easter with Matteo’s family.... PHEW! I’m now realising why I’m exhausted right now • As I just sat down after returning home, with perfect timing @lanaivanovaphoto sends me through a few sneaky peaks from our Illumina #ohfloraworkshop ✨
