This is my son playing Discgolf. One of his heroes, Pro Discgolfer Ricky Wysocki @sockibomb13 stopped by to see the kids playing in a tournament! I wanted to get a great shot of my son trying to impress him, so I immediately went to where my son would be in the foreground and Ricky would be behind him. Now, my son doesn't wait for me to be ready, so I had to act fast! I prefocused on where he was going to throw from and waited for him to launch the disk. I made sure to frame all of Ricky in the shot and made sure I had plenty of room on the left for the disc to travel into. If you're shooting sports, you have to know what's going on and leave space for what's happening. In this case, a small pan to the left allowed me to get my son, his hero, and the disc at max speed.
