On this latest trip, I spent a few days in Malta and stayed at the @dolmen_hotel with this amazing view of the impossibly blue water The Dolmen is well situated for people that want to go to Gozo Island or the the historic cities of Mdina and Rabat. It’s also a great place to get in some relaxing vacation time. You can see the room in my stories highlights.
If you want to visit Malta too, here are the top 10 things to do:
1. See Valletta the chic and beautiful capital city of Malta. See St John’s Co-Cathedral, wander the cobblestone streets, enjoy a meal with Maltese wine . Spend the day, there’s tons to do.
2. Gozo Island - the less developed neighboring island that has incredible natural beauty.
3. Mdina - the ancient walled city that you’ll recognize if you’re a Game of Thrones fan. There are 10 GOT locations on Malta.
4. Rabat - the historic and beautiful next door city of Mdina.
5. The Blue Lagoon - a protected, calm swimming spot with turquoise water.
6. The Blue Grotto - a stunning cliff/cave area.
7. Go to the beach. There are many around the island.
8. Popeye Village - the Popeye movie set, a fun spot for kids and totally instagrammable.
9. Marsaxlokk- the prettiest fishing village with colorful boats.
10. Hal Saflieni Hypogeum -a UNESCO underground burial site.
